Geriatrician
About the Role
Full-time Geriatrician position focused on wound management in Eau Claire, WI. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities.
Physicians deliver modern wound care at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. This is a mobile practice, with physicians visiting 2-3 facilities per day within a 40–60 mile radius, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
Full-time work is Monday–Friday (7am–4pm), with part-time options available (minimum 3 days per week). Full-time roles typically require 4–5 days per week. Clinical documentation is completed in real-time during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified, wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
- Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities.
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship available).
Training & Development
- Paid training provided during onboarding.
- 6-month wound care fellowship included to build expertise.
Pay
W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.
Schedule
- Full-time: Monday–Friday (7am–4pm), 4–5 days per week, ~45 hours weekly.
- Part-time: Minimum 3 days per week.
- No call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.
