Geriatrician

Part-time opportunity with a national wound-physician group offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance—no nights, no call, no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified, wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound-care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in skilled-nursing facilities and long-term acute-care hospitals across a 40–60 mile radius of Pulaski, VA.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily.
• Document care in real time during rounds using the group’s proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MD/DO license in the state where you will practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time role; 4–5 days per week for full-time.

Schedule

• Full-time hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (part-time also available).
• No call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Mobile practice: travel to facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of Pulaski, VA.

• Paid onboarding training plus a 6-month wound-care fellowship.
