About the Role

This part-time position in Hauppauge, NY involves providing bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals across a 40–60 mile radius. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day at 2–3 facilities.
This is a mobile practice with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a typical workweek of 45 hours. Part-time roles require a minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified, wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
- Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities.
- Treat approximately 20–30 patients per day across 2–3 facilities.
- Complete clinical documentation in real-time during rounds using the proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
- Willingness to travel to facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of Hauppauge, NY.
W2 employment contract; no work visa sponsorship is available.
