This part-time position in Cortland, NY involves bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

Full-time W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a routine 45-hour workweek. This role offers a mobile practice, visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
• Utilize proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation during rounds.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
• No work visa sponsorship is available.

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm), 4-5 days per week.
• Part-time: Minimum of 3 days per week.
• No call, no weekend clinical responsibilities.
