Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing) per policy
- Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake, and bowel movements
- Observe residents and report physical or behavioral changes to nursing staff
- Absist with toileting, incontinence care, and repositioning every 2 hours
- Sustain clean, safe resident rooms; change linens and handle laundry
- Absist with meals, feeding, and hydration; monitor intake
- Help with admissions, discharges, and room transitions
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to the three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CURRENT Maryland state geriatric nursing assistant registration or CNA-I certification required
