About the role
K2 Construction is a locally owned and operated company in Lincoln, Nebraska, that has been in business since 2001. K2 Geothermal, a subsidiary, was established in 2009 and is now Nebraska's largest geothermal contractor.
Responsibilities
- Minimum of 1 year experience drilling wells preferred
- Experience with geothermal drilling procedures and closed loop systems a plus
- Rigs are top head drive, Schramm knowledge preferred
- Out of town and out of state travel is required
- Mechanical and/or welding skills helpful
Requirements
- All work is performed outside in heat, cold, and inclement weather
- Exposure to all elements of nature
- Exposure to all types of terrain
- Exposure to loud noise
- Exposure to fumes, odors, gasses, dusts, etc.
- Work in close proximity to heavy traffic
Physical Requirements
- Standing
- Walking
- Climbing, stooping and bending
- Periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds
- Duties may require working from heights

Pay
