About the role
Thatcher Foundations, a leading deep foundations and geotechnical contractor with more than 80 years of experience, is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing team. You will play a key role in delivering projects from award through completion while working alongside experienced operations, engineering, and field teams across a variety of foundation and heavy civil projects in the Chicagoland market.
Responsibilities
- Managing project schedules, costs, and resources
- Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Reviewing drawings, contracts, and specifications
- Supporting project planning and execution
- Monitoring budgets and project performance
- Ensuring successful delivery of projects
Requirements
We are open to candidates from a range of construction backgrounds, including:
- Deep Foundations
- Geotechnical Construction
- Heavy Civil
- Concrete Construction
- Excavation
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A collaborative approach and positive attitude
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
A Civil Engineering degree is advantageous but not essential.
