Geotechnical Project Manager - Chicago

About the role

Thatcher Foundations, a leading deep foundations and geotechnical contractor with more than 80 years of experience, is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing team. You will play a key role in delivering projects from award through completion while working alongside experienced operations, engineering, and field teams across a variety of foundation and heavy civil projects in the Chicagoland market.

Responsibilities

• Managing project schedules, costs, and resources
• Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Reviewing drawings, contracts, and specifications
• Supporting project planning and execution
• Monitoring budgets and project performance
• Ensuring successful delivery of projects

Requirements

• Deep Foundations
• Geotechnical Construction
• Heavy Civil
• Concrete Construction
• Excavation

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of project management experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A collaborative approach and positive attitude
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges

A Civil Engineering degree is advantageous but not essential.
