Geotechnical - Project Manager

About the role

Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC) is growing and we have an excellent opportunity to hire a Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager in our Monroeville, PA office.

Responsibilities

• Geotechnical subsurface investigations, including coordination or monitoring subsurface drilling, obtaining soil and rock samples, preparing boring logs, developing laboratory testing programs, interpreting laboratory data, performing geotechnical analyses and design, and report preparation.
• Construction materials testing project duties, including management, coordination, supervision, review and direction of technician staff for earthwork, concrete, foundation, masonry and pavement construction testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering (Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred)
• 5+ years of Consulting Geotechnical Engineering experience
• Professional Engineering License (PE) registration with applicable experience
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
