Geotechnical Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Construction observation and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials.

• Certifications preferred: ACI, NICET, WACEL and/or others

Qualifications

Must have the ability to use hands for handling, fingering, and feeling; reaching, climbing, and balancing; crouching, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and sitting; seeing and smelling, including close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth vision, and ability to focus.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 80 pounds or more (such as a loaded wheelbarrow of concrete or soil samples).

Pay

$18-$20 per hour, depending on relevant experience. Overtime paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate.

Schedule

Hours are flexible but typically involve standing for extended durations and repetitive motions such as lifting or hammering.
