Responsibilities
- Construction observation and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Geology, or similar degree preferred but not required
- Certificates such as NICET, ACI, WACEL, VA DOT (Department of Transportation) a plus
- Own a Reliable Vehicle, have a Valid Drivers License, and have a Good Driving Record
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Able to work alone as well as in a group
Qualifications
- Experience is preferred, but we will accept entry level candidates and provide training!

Schedule
Average 60 hours a week (10 hour days), with a work schedule that includes Saturdays.
Pay
Paid on an hourly basis. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate. Your time is measured from the time you arrive at the office in the morning to the time you leave the office in the evening, excluding any time for lunch.
Travel Mileage
Reimbursed at the IRS rate (currently $0.73 per mile) for travel from office to job site and back to office.
