Responsibilities
- Planning, accomplishing, and leading site characterization programs for challenging projects
- Completing geotechnical engineering analyses for site development, buildings, bridges, landslides and roads
- Providing in-depth seismic hazards evaluations
- Managing, mentoring, and training field staff to ensure quality data collection, technical growth, and adherence to safety and project standards
- Collaborating closely with civil, structural, and environmental teams to develop integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions for clients
- Develop a professional presence in our regional community through participation in professional organizations, through interaction with key clients, and through client development
Requirements
- B.S. Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with geotechnical emphasis
- M.S. Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with geotechnical emphasis (preferred)
- 6+ years professional geotechnical engineering experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to obtain Washington licensure within 12 months
- Experience with soil and rock classification, field exploration procedures and methods, earthwork and pavement construction observation, nuclear density testing, and laboratory testing procedures

Pay
Annual Expected Pay Range: $100,000 USD - $125,000 USD
