About the role

Responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil and rock properties, and providing recommendations for construction projects in the state of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site investigations and collect data on soil and rock conditions
  • Analyze test results and prepare reports
  • Provide technical support to project teams
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure compliance with building codes and standards
  • Stay updated with the latest geotechnical engineering practices and technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of geotechnical testing methods and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • Professional Geotechnical Engineer (P.G.E.) license preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills

  • Geotechnical engineering software proficiency (e.g., GSI-Log, GeoStudio)
  • Experience with GIS and remote sensing technologies
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay

  • $80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

  • Full-time position
