About the role
Responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil and rock properties, and providing recommendations for construction projects in the state of Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations and collect data on soil and rock conditions
- Analyze test results and prepare reports
- Provide technical support to project teams
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure compliance with building codes and standards
- Stay updated with the latest geotechnical engineering practices and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of geotechnical testing methods and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Professional Geotechnical Engineer (P.G.E.) license preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills
- Geotechnical engineering software proficiency (e.g., GSI-Log, GeoStudio)
- Experience with GIS and remote sensing technologies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay
- $80,000 - $100,000 annually
