Key Responsibilities
- Produce geotechnical plan sheets using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
- Develop boring location plans, profiles, and geotechnical cross sections.
- Create pavement section details and embankment exhibits.
- Integrate subsurface exploration data into DOT roadway plan sets.
- Manage stationing, alignments, and profiles within the Bentley environment.
- Maintain DOT CAD standards, levels, and symbology for all deliverables.
- Cook up with geotechnical and structural teams to ensure plan accuracy.
- Perform QA/QC checks on redline updates and file organization.
Basic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of CAD design experience in transportation or infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer.
- Proven experience supporting DOT projects and submittal requirements.
- Ability to interpret geotechnical reports and engineering sketches.
- Strong file management skills within multidisciplinary engineering environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with geotechnical boring programs and exploration layouts.
- Knowledge of retaining wall or slope stabilization exhibits.
- Prior use of InRoads, Geopak, or Civil 3D.
- History of working on design-build transportation projects.
