Geoscience Technician

About the role

INTERA is seeking a Geoscience Technician to join our Austin office and support groundwater, environmental, geophysical, and subsurface characterization projects throughout Texas and the western United States. Working closely with senior geophysicists, geologists, hydrogeologists, and engineers, you will manage, organize, analyze, and visualize the geoscience datasets behind our technical interpretations, maintaining data quality, developing visualizations, and preparing project deliverables. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude who enjoys working with geospatial, geologic, geophysical, and environmental datasets as part of a multidisciplinary team. Subsurface data skills transfer readily across sectors, and we welcome candidates who have developed those skills in oil and gas and are looking to apply them to groundwater, environmental, and water-resource projects.
