About the role

The Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-olds, based on the needs of each child and the requirements of Georgia’s Pre-K Program under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.

• Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards, and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool, and development topics.
• Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field, or an active CDA in Preschool.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
