Geomatics Technician

Responsibilities

• Reviews digital images and makes pass or fail decisions based on image quality and accuracy.
• Utilizes proprietary internal and industry standard geomatics packages to post-process raw GPS, INS, and digital image data.
• Ensures that customer image quality and accuracy requirements are met by following established procedures and policies.
• Buils customer deliverables.
• Ongoing software training and development support.
• Joins one or more special teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent personal computer abilities required, with experience with file management, networking, databases, etc., strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage detail intensive data processing within given timelines.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team.
• Experience with information technology, digital imaging, physics, mathematics, management, GPS, GIS, scripting, remote sensing, or administrative work would be helpful.
• Experience with Windows 10 and 11.
