Geologist 3
About the role
Performs basic to moderate complexity geologic/ seismic evaluations/fault rupture hazard and slope stability investigations/hydrogeologic analysis (aquifer test analysis; geochemical analysis; geotechnical analysis; contaminant transport analysis etc.) in both surface and subsurface geologic conditions pertaining to water supply, contaminant and/or geotechnical assessments.
- Schedules and reviews the work of subcontractors during field work.
- Develops draft evaluations and calculations for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on all assessments.
- Contributes to firm's TKM by developing white papers and technical design documentation of new or special case designs, studies, etc.
- Submits technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals.
- Attends conferences, symposia, etc. to improve the visibility of the firm's products and services in collaboration with applicable sales staff.
- Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff.
- Reviews the work of more junior staff.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline. 3 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Expert Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
- Solid knowledge of scientific methods and processes.
- Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
