About the role

The Market Host interacts with guests and provides great customer service, helping them build the perfect stir fry.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions for first-time and return guests
• Educate guests about the concept and products offered
• Clean and sanitize the line to ensure a positive dining experience
• Restock the line for guests
• Assist in portioning
• Practice food safety at all times, including checking product temperatures
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor
• Frequently immerse hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions

Requirements

• Customer service skills (1 year preferred)
• Basic English language skills (written and verbal)
• Professional, warm, and service-oriented demeanor
• Basic food/beverage knowledge (helpful)
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage time, and work well under pressure
• High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift (up to 40 lbs), pull, bend, and carry trays continuously throughout a shift
• Strong communication skills; comfortable conversing with guests
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
• Work experience in a high-volume or fast-casual dining restaurant environment (preferred)
