Genghis Grill - Market Host

Responsibilities

• Interacts with guests and provides great customer service
• Knows how to build the perfect stir fry
• Answers questions for first-time and return guests
• Knowledgeable about the market's concept and products offered
• Cleans and sanitizes the line to ensure a good experience for diners
• Restocks the line for guests
• Portions food items
• P Practices food safety at all times
• Checks the temperature of products
• Completes additional tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor

Requirements

• Customer service skills
• One year of experience preferred
• Basic English language skills (written and verbal)
• Professional, warm demeanor - service oriented
• Basic food/beverage knowledge helpful
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage time and work well under pressure
• High school diploma (or equivalent education/experience)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, pull, bend and carry trays continuously throughout a shift
• Good communication skills, can converse comfortably with guests
• The ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
• Work experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred
• Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
