Genetic Counselor, Oncology

About the role

The Genetic Counselor provides genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients. The incumbent supports referring providers & clinical team, provides genetics education and outreach, and engages in genetics program activities.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent program from an ABGC or ABMG accredited training program (Required)
• Work Experience: 1 year Genetic counseling experience (Required); work experience in job specific field (Preferred); experience with Epic and Progeny software (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications: ABGC - American Board of Genetic Counseling Board Certified in Genetic Counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (Upon Hire, Required); Genetic Counselor License for the State of Georgia (Upon Hire, Required)
