Responsibilities
- Provides genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients.
- Supports referring providers and the clinical team.
- Provides genetics education and outreach.
- Engages in genetics program activities.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent program from an ABGC or ABMG accredited training program.
- 1 year of genetic counseling experience (required).
- Experience with Epic and Progeny software (preferred).
- Board Certified in Genetic Counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) (required upon hire).
- Genetic Counselor License for the State of Georgia (required upon hire).
