Responsibilities

• Provides genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients.
• Supports referring providers and the clinical team.
• Provides genetics education and outreach.
• Engages in genetics program activities.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent program from an ABGC or ABMG accredited training program.
• 1 year of genetic counseling experience (required).
• Experience with Epic and Progeny software (preferred).
• Board Certified in Genetic Counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) (required upon hire).
• Genetic Counselor License for the State of Georgia (required upon hire).
