About the role
Join a dynamic team as a Genetic Counselor, providing genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up care for patients in a specialized heart institute.
Responsibilities
- Supporting referring providers and the clinical team
- Delivering genetics education and outreach
- Engaging in genetics program activities
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent from an accredited program
- At least 1 year of genetic counseling experience, with preferred experience in cardiology or clinical genetics
- Proficiency with Epic and Progeny software is a plus
Licenses and Certifications
- ABGC certification as a Board-Certified Genetic Counselor
- Genetic Counselor license for the state of Georgia
