About the role
Join a dynamic team as a Genetic Counselor, providing genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients within the Heart Institute.
Responsibilities
- Supporting referring providers and the clinical team with genetics education and outreach
- Engaging in genetics program activities to enhance patient care
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling or an equivalent program from an ABGC or ABMG accredited institution
- At least 1 year of genetic counseling experience; cardiology or clinical genetics experience preferred
- Board Certification in Genetic Counseling from the American Board of Genetic Counseling required upon hire
- Genetic Counselor license for the state of Georgia required upon hire
Skills
- Proficiency with Epic and Progeny software preferred
