About the role
The Generosity Engagement Manager builds and strengthens meaningful relationships with YouVersion's recurring giver community by connecting them to the impact of their generosity. This role develops and executes engagement strategies, communications, and experiences that help givers feel informed, valued, and connected to YouVersion's mission.
Responsibilities
- Develop Generosity Engagement Strategies
- Write and produce the Sowers newsletter
- Plan and execute virtual engagement experiences
- Identify, develop, and package compelling stories and impact communications
- Partner with Marketing and Creative teams to develop content and assets
- Cultivate Donor Relationships
- Lead YouVersion's care strategy for the recurring giver community
- Develop and manage personalized engagement throughout the giver lifecycle
- Monitor engagement trends and coordinate meaningful follow-up
- Partner with Operations to ensure donor care processes are effective, consistent, and well coordinated
- Build Engagement Systems
- Design and manage workflows, automations, and tools
- Collaborate with Product to identify opportunities that enhance the recurring giver experience
- Track engagement outcomes and communicate insights
Requirements
- Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and solve problems
- Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to identify, develop, and communicate meaningful stories of ministry impact
- Effective at process and organizational management
- Ability to develop and manage engagement systems, workflows, and automations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
