Generator Technician

Power Plus is a multi‑industry leader providing intelligent and efficient power solutions to Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon, Wal‑Mart, and Costco. Our Generator Service & Maintenance Division is seeking qualified Generator Service Technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test generators ranging from 5 kW to 4 000 kW while delivering best‑in‑class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test 5 kW – 4 000 kW generator systems
• Interact with customers
• Correctly fill out paperwork
• Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Requirements

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators
• Technical schooling in automotive, transportation, commercial/residential electric, or related fields; military experience a plus
• Willingness to learn and use new technologies
• Availability for various shifts, weekends, holidays, on‑call pager rotations, and occasional out‑of‑town travel/overnight stays
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes in accordance with OSHA regulations
• Certified Journeyman Electrician a plus but not required

Pay

Total Estimated Compensation: $87,600.00 – $137,280.00

Schedule

• Various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• On‑call pager rotations
• Occasional out‑of‑town travel with overnight stays
