Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance services on Mesa units in accordance with the Mesa standard.
  • Maintains units records by thoroughly recording service/repair tasks and parts used.
  • Troubleshoots problems and resolves in a timely manner.
  • Provides superior customer service.
  • Verifies and ensures Mesa units serviceability by following service checklists.
  • Updates professional knowledge through constant study of Mesa units.
  • Maintains the Mesa standard in all aspects of job responsibilities.
  • Performs all duties in a safe and effective manner according to the company's policies and procedures.
  • Maintains clean and organized work environments at all times.
  • Transmits information and documents with computer and phone.
  • Maintains professional personal appearance.
  • Helps provide a positive team spirit daily.

Requirements

  • Education: High School or GED, preferred: Vocational / Technical degree with an engine or mechanical focus. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in a related field from an accredited university.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience operating 3/4 – 1-ton service trucks. 1 year of trailer pulling experience. Preferred: 2 years of related experience.
  • Honorably discharged service veterans are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Understanding and familiarity of basic hand tools.
  • Understanding of standard and metric systems.
  • Understanding of electricity and associated hazards, preferred.
  • Proficient with engine troubleshooting tools including Engine Control Modules and gaseous fuel systems, preferred.
  • Mesa unit maintenance procedures and standards.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical repair methods.
  • Safety protocols and company policies.
  • Recordkeeping and documentation practices.
  • Troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.
  • Customer service principles.
  • Uses service checklists to ensure unit readiness.
  • Maintains organized and safe work environments.
  • Communicates clearly via phone and computer.
  • Works effectively as part of a team.
  • Follows company standards and service procedures consistently.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Learns and applies technical information specific to Mesa units.
  • Manages time efficiently and prioritizes tasks.
  • Adapts to changing service needs or priorities.
  • Contributes positively to team morale and workplace culture.
  • Must be able to fluently speak, write, and read in English.
