Responsibilities

• As a Generac Generator Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of generators (mostly residential, some commercial and industrial).
• Great customer service and communication skills with internal staff especially when interacting with company clientele.
• Prepare accurate estimates after diagnosing & troubleshooting for potential repairs.
• Responsible for completing and uploading service reports into company CRM.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• This is for our Commercial department and will require travel within RI, MA and CT.
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair systems according to specifications and codes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient completion of projects.
• Reassemble and test equipment following repairs.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, technologies, and best practices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing malfunctioning and troubleshooting systems using hand tools and testing equipment to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Adjust or replace worn or defective mechanisms and parts, and reassemble repaired systems.
• Ensure that all work meets regulatory standards, safety protocols, and company service system guidelines.
