Generator Technician

About the Role

Join CMC Electric, LLC in Clayton, NC as a full-time Experienced Generator Tech and become a pivotal part of our growing business! We're hiring a hands-on problem solver who can accurately diagnose and address electrical and mechanical issues.

What You'll Do Each Day

• Visit customers, assess their generators, and diagnose the source of any problems
• Complete top-notch repairs, maintenance, and installations while following all codes
• Ensure customer satisfaction and do whatever it takes to get the system functioning optimally

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing or installing automatic standby generators
• Knowledge about residential or commercial generator maintenance
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work with a team
• Positive attitude and a customer service mindset
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Generac certification would be a bonus

Pay

Our Experienced Generator Techs earn competitive pay $25 to $30/hr plus commission based on qualifications. (Weekly ability to earn $75.00 per hour based on efficiency. Take-home pay is the higher of the hourly rate vs billable hours turned in.)
