About the role

The Generator Service Sales Representative sells preventative maintenance contracts and repair services to new and existing customers. This role focuses on developing new relationships and managing existing ones to provide comprehensive maintenance plans for hospitals and healthcare facilities, commercial businesses, public and private school systems, and other industrial establishments that utilize power generation equipment for standby or emergency power.

Salary is base plus commission.

Responsibilities

  • Develops strategic cold call plans to provide consistent and effective prospecting efforts.
  • Meets with current customers to develop and/or maintain strong relationships, ensuring the highest quality of customer service for power generation maintenance.
  • Prepares, discusses, and negotiates contract proposals with prospective customers.
  • Assists the Service Department by following up with customers on requested repairs or repairs identified during maintenance service.
  • Represents W.W. Williams at industry functions, trade shows, and events.
  • Strategic and creative in pursuing new avenues to increase sales and market areas.
  • Consistently tracks all sales activities in Salesforce by following company-provided guidelines/practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related sales experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient in Salesforce or experience with other CRM software preferred.
