Generator Rental Prep Coordinator - Power Systems
About the role
Ring Power Corporation seeks a Rental Equipment Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring rental equipment is ready for immediate shipment, maintaining equipment, and performing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all rental equipment for urgent / immediate shipment to customer
- Perform official Check In to report hours, fuel level, any damage, cable count, and determine if unit(s) need to be serviced / repaired
- Load / unload equipment on trucks utilizing a lift truck and or overhead crane
- Retrieve equipment from inventory yard utilizing a farm tractor, lift truck, or yard jockey
- Refuel, add oil and engine fluids to equipment as needed
- Communicate and coordinate with other shops and departments to get rental fleet work completed
- Count, sort and place support equipment (cable, tails, mechanical hardware, hose, fittings, duct) on pallets, shelves, racks and/or storage bins
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to comprehend, speak and write the English language
- Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and DBS
