Generation Project Manager-NAPS

About the role
The Generation Project Manager will be primarily focused on the planning and execution of fleet-level strategic nuclear projects supporting long-term generation strategy. This work will include early-phase scope development, cost estimating, scheduling, risk management reviews, regulatory review, contract review and negotiation, data management and analysis, reporting to stakeholders including executive leadership, vendor management, and creation and implementation of project management tools and technology.
The PM will be responsible for implementing project processes, policies, protocols, and best practices in a disciplined manner to help improve fleetwide performance and consistency. The PM will establish and nurture productive relationships with stakeholders from across the organization, including engineering, licensing, operations, procurement, and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute fleet-level strategic nuclear projects
- Develop early-phase scope, cost estimates, and schedules
- Conduct risk management reviews and regulatory reviews
- Review and negotiate contracts
- Manage data and perform analysis
- Report to stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Manage vendors and implement project management tools and technology
- Implement project processes, policies, protocols, and best practices
- Coordinate resolution of technical problems and implement changes
- Represent the project and the company in public forums
- Develop rapport with all levels of management and staff
Requirements
- 7 or more years of industry experience in construction, engineering, finance, and/or management, with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in project management
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a related Associate's degree and nine (9) or more years of work experience in construction, engineering, business management, or project management may be substituted
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management, heavy industrial, relevant technologies, and leadership
- Strong team-building skills and ability to lead teams effectively to achieve project goals and milestones
- Effective negotiation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities
- Ability to develop, manage, and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will possess prior experience in the nuclear power industry.
- Preferred degree disciplines: Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Associate in Project Management certification preferred
Millstone must meet ANSI N18.1-1971, Section 4.6.2.

Pay
Expected hiring base salary range: $116,300 - $151,100. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location.
