About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional drain cleaner to join our team at Accurate Cesspool. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of swiftly and professionally resolving severe drain and sewer blockages, particularly in large residential and commercial complexes. You will operate advanced equipment like the JM-2512 Typhoon™ trailer jet to tackle challenging jobs, ensuring efficient and effective results.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls for severe drain and sewer blockages in residential and commercial properties.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment, such as the JM-2512 Typhoon™, to clear clogs in large pipes and long runs.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on sewer lines, house traps, and main drains.
• Maneuver and transport heavy equipment to job sites, including navigating tight spaces and landscaping.
• Assess and diagnose drainage issues, employing tools like VibraPulse® to ensure thorough cleaning.
• Maintain and manage equipment, including refueling, monitoring pressure gauges, and ensuring proper operation of safety features.
• Provide professional and timely service to clients, ensuring their drainage problems are resolved efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional drain cleaning or a related field.
• Experience operating trailer-mounted water jetting equipment, such as the JM-2512 Typhoon™ or similar.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues on-site.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record, capable of towing heavy equipment.
• Physical ability to handle demanding labor, including lifting heavy hoses, maneuvering equipment, and working in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for operating high-pressure equipment and working in hazardous environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating high-pressure water jetting systems and related tools.
• Familiarity with sewer and drain systems, including house traps, main lines, and large-diameter pipes.
• Ability to read and interpret pressure gauges, hour meters, and other equipment controls.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, facility managers, and team members.
• Attention to detail in diagnosing issues and ensuring thorough cleaning of drainage systems.
