About the Role

PipeTech Plumbing LLC, a family-owned business with nearly a century of cumulative expertise, relies on a dynamic duo of tools from General Pipe Cleaners to tackle clogs in inside lines: the Super-Vee® electric drain cleaner and the Kinetic Water Ram®. These tools are essential for their drain cleaning and repair services, which account for close to 50% of their work.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Kinetic Water Ram® to clear clogs in 1-1/4” to 4” lines using its air-powered shock wave technology.
  • Employ the Super-Vee® electric drain cleaner to unclog sink, shower, toilet, and laundry lines up to 3” in diameter.
  • Handle maintenance tasks in restaurants, daycares, and residential steam heating systems, including clearing clogs caused by fats and shavings in floor sinks.
  • Use the Handy-Stand™ to enhance the versatility and stability of the Super-Vee® in tight and awkward spaces.
  • Maintain and care for Flexicore® cables by rinsing, lubricating with Snake Oil Classic™, and ensuring proper storage.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in using handheld drain cleaning tools, particularly the Kinetic Water Ram® and Super-Vee®.
  • Experience working with older plumbing systems and fragile pipes and traps.
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces and handle tools safely and effectively.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and clear various types of clogs.
  • Attention to detail in maintaining and lubricating equipment for longevity.
  • Customer service skills to uphold PipeTech Plumbing’s reputation for honesty and integrity.
