We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Professional to join our team at Bush Family Plumbing LLC in Zephyrhills, FL. This role involves handling complex drain and sewer line stoppages using specialized equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable and efficient service.

About the Role

You will tackle challenging plumbing issues, particularly severe sewer line blockages caused by root penetration and other tough obstructions. Your work will directly contribute to our reputation for first-time fixes and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clear severe sewer line stoppages, including root penetration and other stubborn clogs, using sectional drain cleaners and related equipment.
• Operate and maintain specialized plumbing tools, such as the Root 66® sectional drain cleaner, to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform drain cleaning for mainline blockages, kitchen sink clogs, and roof stoppages using appropriate cable sizes (5/8” or 7/8”).
• Work in tight spaces and on steep, pitched roofs while maintaining safety for both equipment and personnel.
• Utilize additional tools, such as video inspection systems and smaller Flexicore® cables, for comprehensive drain cleaning and diagnostics.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, including weekly greasing and routine checks for reliability.
• Uphold the company’s reputation for quality service by resolving issues efficiently and effectively on the first visit.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing, particularly in clearing severe sewer line stoppages and root penetration.
• Familiarity with sectional drain cleaners, such as the Root 66®, and other specialized plumbing equipment.
• Ability to work in challenging environments, including tight spaces and steep roofs.
• Strong understanding of torque, cable sizes, and equipment operation for effective drain cleaning.
• Commitment to equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting sectional drain cleaners and related tools.
• Experience with video inspection systems and digital locators for drain diagnostics.
• Knowledge of Flexicore® cables and their application in smaller drain lines.
• Ability to assess and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, ensuring first-time fixes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail in equipment maintenance.
