Job Description

Serves as the primary People Business Partner contact for general questions and concerns from associates. Builds relationships and credibility with associates and leaders by delivering exceptional customer service. Assists with responding to employee relations issues and supports internal investigations.

  • Edits and coaches leaders on the performance management process and participates in the delivery of progressive discipline and performance improvement plans.
  • Supports the talent attraction process: gathers and reviews job descriptions from hiring managers, posts roles, and communicates relevant details to both hiring managers and talent acquisition partners.
  • Onboards associates: educates and supports hiring managers regarding the onboarding process, coordinates and communicates with new hires to plan for their first day, and completes local and/or virtual new hire orientation.
  • Develops and provides regular associate monthly communications, as well as crafts ad-hoc communications to support important events like annual benefits enrollment, among others.
  • Edits and coaches leaders on the leave of absence process as needed; manages communications with external partners and tracks all leaves.
  • Conducts exit interviews with associates to gather key attrition insights and processes all exit paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Facilitates training for both associates and leaders.
  • Completes administrative tasks such as reviewing/entering timecard updates and overseeing the UKG timekeeping process; processes job changes, maintains associate files, sets up direct deposit or other payroll activities, completes unemployment claims, etc.
  • Conducts a regular audit of associate records in Workday and ensures organization charts stay up to date.
  • Publishes and pulls regular People Business Partner reporting to support the operational teams.
  • Maintains a shared phone line and shared inbox to maintain timely communication with fulfillment associates.

What You Will Bring

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Human Resources role required.
  • Full professional proficiency in Spanish - requires complete ability to read documentation, translate policies, and write professional communication in Spanish and English.
  • Basic understanding of major employment laws.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace or MS Office (emphasis on Microsoft PowerPoint).
  • UKG timekeeping and Workday.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enjoys providing guidance and support to large non-exempt onsite teams leading with compassion and empathy.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Prior experience supporting large onsite facilities.
  • PHR or SRHM-CP (preferred).

Salary And Other Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $65,000 to $81,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
