About the role
As an HR Generalist at ProAmpac, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's mission and values. Your primary responsibility will be to assist employees, implement and administer HR programs, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Be visible to employees and walk the production floor to address their needs and concerns.
- Implement and administer programs and policies that align with ProAmpac's core values.
- Support the Performance Management Process and retention efforts.
- Manage employee and labor relations, ensuring compliance with federal, local, and company requirements.
- Manage timekeeping, updates, and payroll changes/corrections.
- Organize, maintain, and update employee files and HRIS systems.
- Support ProAmpac's Total Rewards, Compensation, and Benefit Programs.
- Maintain HR systems' integrity and data accuracy.
- Drive engagement and positive employee experience through strong change management and communication.
- Contribute to ProAmpac's culture and core values.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing to meet deadlines.
Qualifications, Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development from a four-year college, or
- Three (3+) years of related experience and/or training in a large manufacturing organization, or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience in a large manufacturing organization.
Solid working knowledge of HR processes and related manufacturing. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and Outlook. Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information. Self-confident, self-motivated, polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Exceptional time management and organization skills.
