Generalist - Detroit ObGyn
Overview
Henry Ford Hospital-Detroit is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician to function as an OB hospitalist at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Shifts range from 10 to 24 hours depending on preference.
Responsibilities
- Management of residents as they evaluate and treat patients in the emergency room, OB triage, labor and delivery, and the OR
- Provide appropriate oversight and clinical teaching of medical students, residents, and other learners
- Complete OB and GYN consults, including those from the Emergency Department
- Perform minor GYN surgeries
Requirements
- Board-certified or Board-eligible OB/GYN (MD or DO)
- Willing to work days, nights, and weekends
- Clinically motivated and have prior experience in a high acuity obstetrics setting
- An exceptional communicator
- Devoted to providing quality, patient-centered care
- Strongly interested in resident and medical student education
