General Worker

About the role

Walbec Group is seeking an Equipment Operator to support construction operations. This is an entry-level position requiring physical labor and mental preparedness.

Responsibilities

• Raking
• Shoveling
• Cleaning
• Measuring
• Traffic control
• Operation of small equipment (saw, blower, etc.)
• Introduction to advanced equipment operation

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
• CDL is preferred but not required
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
• Punctual and dependable
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
• Tolerance and ability to work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willing to become a union member

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience preferred
• Previous experience in landscaping, farming, or raking/shoveling preferred
