General Worker
About the role
Walbec Group is seeking an Equipment Operator to support construction operations. This is an entry-level position requiring physical labor and mental preparedness.
Responsibilities
- Raking
- Shoveling
- Cleaning
- Measuring
- Traffic control
- Operation of small equipment (saw, blower, etc.)
- Introduction to advanced equipment operation
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- CDL is preferred but not required
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
- Punctual and dependable
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
- Tolerance and ability to work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments
- Member of the appropriate trade union or willing to join one
Qualifications
- Previous construction experience preferred
- Previous experience in landscaping, farming, or raking/shoveling preferred
