General Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver-NON-CDL -Atlantic Tire Distributors
We are seeking applicants to join our Atlantic Tire Distributors team in Ridgeville, SC. As an employee, you’ll work for a fast-paced, successful, stable, and growing company with warehouses operating in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
About the role
Manually and using powered equipment, move tires and stock materials in to and out of racked bins in a warehouse environment; perform other general labor as well as other duties as assigned by the manager. This position requires working at heights using an order picker. Primarily a warehouse role with the possibility of driving a delivery truck (18-24ft box truck) on a delivery route to deliver products to customers as needed.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record is required. Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse.
- Review shipments and advise management of shortages or damaged shipments.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material/equipment needs.
- Record numbers of units handled or moved using daily production sheets, work tickets, or handheld scanner.
- Maintain warehouse area in a neat and organized manner.
- Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.
Requirements
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Not afraid of heights, as use of an order picker at height is required.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 100 pounds and frequently lift/move more than 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay
Starting pay: $19.50 per hour (dependent on experience).
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
