About the Role

This position involves performing essential warehouse functions in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision, follow detailed instructions, and support safety programs.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with internal customers and management.
  • Follow detailed instructions and maintain attention to detail.
  • Use electronic devices such as tablets, radios, and scanners.
  • Perform basic math functions, including counting, adding, and subtracting accurately.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, reporting hazards immediately.
  • Read labels, tickets, and other product documentation accurately.
  • Become proficient with Warehouse Management Systems, RF, and voice-directed picking.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments as needed.
  • Assist in other production areas as required, working at different workstations.
  • Conduct work safely and adhere to safety methods.
  • Work with minimal supervision and adapt to shifting work volumes.
  • Meet production standards within required time frames.
  • Demonstrate quality and accuracy in material handling functions.
  • Move product by hand or with a manual pallet jack to and from production areas.
  • Transport materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and order processing areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior general warehouse or material handler experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours a day.
  • Repetitively reach up and out.
  • Push/pull up to 25 pounds repeatedly and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
