About the role

We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised General Virtual Assistant to support a dynamic service-based business. This full-time role blends administrative, executive, and personal assistant responsibilities with light bookkeeping and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support, including calendar management, email handling, and task coordination
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including invoice generation, expense tracking, and reconciliation
  • Handle inbound client calls with professionalism and warmth—no cold calling required
  • Aid with document preparation, data entry, and file organisation
  • Anticipate needs and offer proactive support to ensure smooth operations

Skills Required

  • Strong background in general administration, executive assistance, or personal assistant work
  • Experience with Xero or similar bookkeeping platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote setup
