General Surgery Subspecialty Physician Assistant (Full Time)

Overview

This subspecialty surgery position (ENT, Urology, GYN, Plastic Surgery, and Robotic Surgery) is located at 267 Grant St, Bridgeport, CT 06610.

POSITION DETAILS

• Significant operative responsibility.
• Looking for someone with OR first assisting experience; additional training in robotics is a plus.

EDUCATION

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Licensure:
  • Active PA Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Connecticut State Physician Assistant License.
  • Connecticut State Registered Nurse License, Connecticut State Nurse Practitioner License, Board specialty certification, as appropriate for position profile.
• Experience:
  • Clinical working experience as an NP/PA in the specialty/service line is preferred but not required.
