About the role

Merz b. Schwanen is a brand that creates timeless, high-quality garments using traditional loop-wheeled fabrics, sustainable textiles, and contemporary design approaches. Our mission is to produce versatile, comfortable, and authentic basics that consider both the environment and the people who wear our garments. We have a presence in over 35 countries and are excited to open our first retail store in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, memorable experiences to all visitors of our store
• Utilize your brand and product knowledge to guide customers and assist them in choosing the products that are right for them
• Contribute to the achievement of the store’s key performance indicators
• Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers and colleagues
• Maintain the visual merchandising standards of the store at all times
• Accurately perform store procedures such as stock counts, opening and closing, and cashing up
• Be flexible and willing to work on weekends and public holidays

Qualities

• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in clothing retail
• Ability to work effectively in and contribute to the success of a team
• Curiosity to understand people and their needs without assumptions or judgment
• Confidence in yourself and your abilities while maintaining a growth mindset
