General Surgery Physician - ESA - Emory Warner Robins
About the role
The Emory Division of General Surgery and GI is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Surgeon to join an established and thriving surgical group at Emory Hospital Warner Robins.
Responsibilities
- Attend to the needs of all patients within the scope of licensing, training and credentialing, performing patient care activities to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a General Surgeon.
- Absolutely participate in on-call duties.
- Actively participate in meetings and committees.
- Practice medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals.
Requirements
- Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.).
- Must hold or be able to attain a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia.
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery.
- Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction.
- Experience in outpatient and inpatient medical practice preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Must be computer literate.
