General Surgeon - Locum Tenens Coverage

Role Overview

This position involves providing in-house call coverage primarily from Friday to Sunday, with responsibilities in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Duties

• Managing 1-3 patients per 24-hour call period
• Performing laparoscopic surgeries such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
• Conducting head/neck, breast, and chest wall/pleural procedures
• Carrying out GI endoscopy procedures including upper, lower, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy
• Performing vascular surgeries and pacemaker insertions

Qualifications & Skills

• Fellowship training is preferred
• Possess the necessary surgical skills and experience in both inpatient and outpatient care

Requirements

• Capable of laparoscopic and specialized surgical procedures
• Preferred fellowship training to enhance expertise
