About the role
This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient surgical care, including general surgery with scopes, for adult and trauma patients.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient and outpatient rounding, admissions, and managing approximately 10 patients per shift
- Scheduled clinical hours with beeper call, requiring a 30-minute call response time
- Patient admissions, rounding, and emergency responses
- Maintain a 1:1 provider-to-patient ratio
- Online reporting of assignment details and time
Requirements
- Experience in bread and butter general surgery and scopes
- Preference for experience with adult and trauma populations
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of handling both inpatient and outpatient settings effectively
