Description
The General Superintendent will lead and oversee all roadway and structural construction activities inside an existing tunnel, ensuring safe, efficient, and coordinated execution across all field operations. The role is responsible for managing field teams, discipline superintendents, subcontractors, production targets, logistics, quality, and safety while coordinating closely with Project Management, Engineering, QA/QC, Survey, and HSE teams.
Main Responsibilities

- Plan work sequencing, access control, logistics, and daily construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with project schedules and production targets.
- Enforce safety procedures and best practices for underground construction.

Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction.
- Proven experience as a General Superintendent or equivalent leadership role.
- Strong background in tunnel, underground, roadway, transportation, or major infrastructure projects.
- Extensive knowledge of structural concrete, rebar, formwork, roadway construction, and field logistics.
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, productivity, and schedule management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- English level: C1 (Advanced).
- Local candidates are preferred.
