About the role
The General Studio Manager will oversee all studio functionalities in tandem with studio owners. The GSM will be responsible for driving sales of memberships while building and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Implement a sales process to schedule prospects into Intro Classes
- Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts
- Lead efforts in grass root marketing and networking
- Manage other marketing efforts such as community events, studio promotions, and outside marketing campaigns with a goal to generate leads
- Manage staff schedule and supervise sales reps and instructors
- Maintain studio cleanliness
- Take on hiring and management duties of instructors at studio
- Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures
- Directly coordinate with vendors ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail or fitness sales experience
- Confident generating personal sales and training others in sales techniques
- Able to work independently as well as able to collaborate with studio owners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in person, over the phone, and through email
- Able to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
- Affinity and passion for fitness
- Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Professional, punctual, reliable, organized, and neat
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public
- Proficiency with computers and Studio software
