General Production Labor 2nd Shift (August) Carthage, MS

Pay: $17.45 per hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift.

About the role

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role may involve working in any area of Fresh Processing, including DSI, Debone, Deli lines, and Evisceration.

Responsibilities

• Push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in damp, cold, or hot environments.
• Reach above shoulder level and stand for 8–10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
• Perform repetitive motion tasks.
• Climb up and down stairs to access work areas.
• Wear required PPE, including frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair nets, and beard guards.
• Use knives, scissors, saws, or skinner machines for boning, trimming, or processing product.
